What The 1 Beep

This Tech Tips video explains what 1 beep means and how to fix

One beep indicates that the device is in push-to-set programming mode. It means that when you apply power, the motor does not spin, and you hear a short beep. If the device is correctly pushed in and travels far enough, you would then hear a longer beep, signaling successful programming.

To fix the one beep, ensure that the device is pushed far enough during the push-to-set programming process. If you're only hearing the short beep and not the long beep, something may be preventing the device from traveling fully. Check for obstructions and make sure the ball bearings on the side of the device is pushing all the way to the end of the groove.
