How does the Electric Privacy Function with Deadbolt work?

The outside lever unlocked (EU) electronically. The latch bolt and deadbolt are retracted by the key outside or the lever inside. Applied power allows the outside lever to retract latch bolt unless the deadbolt is thrown. The inside lever is always free for immediate egress. Available in EU (electronically unlocked) function only.
